About Rosie Speech.
Hi! I am Amber Schafer, Founder of Rosie Speech. I am a licensed and board certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). I live in Conshohocken, PA with my husband and son. I created Rosie Speech in memory of my daughter, Rosie. I was inspired to live my life fiercely honoring Rosie every day while continuing my passion to help children with their speech and language needs. It is my mission to help children and families navigate communication barriers and thrive across all of life's settings. I fully embody the "whole child" approach when creating individualized plans for my clients.

I work with the pediatric population and have had the pleasure of knowing children with many different backgrounds. I work with children to improve their articulation, phonology, expressive language, receptive language, fluency, and social pragmatic skills. I have experience working with children who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices. One of the exciting parts of having my own private practice is that I get to collaborate with parents and caregivers. This opportunity is so important for generalizing learned skills in our sessions. Thank you for reading a little bit about me. I look forward to getting to know you and your child!

I come from a large Irish family with almost 40 cousins who I see regularly throughout the year! I played lacrosse for 13 years of my life. I began coaching high school girls' lacrosse this year and have absolutely loved it!
Working with children is a new adventure every day! When I decided to become an SLP, I knew I wanted to work with children throughout my career. These early years of their lives encompass so much growth and development.
I love how rewarding this profession is, especially working with children. I always knew I wanted to work with children, but I did not truly understand how much I would enjoy it. As a pediatric SLP, teaching and learning naturally occurs through games and fun activities. It is so great to see the progress and confidence grow working with all of my clients!

Brittany Paul

Hi, I am Brittany Paul! I am a board certified Speech and Language Pathologist. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from Penn State University in 2020 and my Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Salus University in 2022. I have experience working with both adults and pediatrics. I started my career in a skilled nursing facility and then made the switch to pediatric outpatient.
I grew up in Northeast Philadelphia and I am a huge Philly sports fan! I love to read in my free time, causing me to have way too many books in my house. Although I don't do it often, I do love to travel and explore new places. My most recent trip was to Alaska, somewhere I have always wished to visit. I just recently adopted a puppy and his name is Oakley. He gets a long very well with my two cats, Miley and Macie.

Making the switch to pediatrics was the best decision for my career! I love helping children achieve their goals and grow their language skills. It’s very rewarding to see a child’s confidence improve as they learn new skills. It’s even better when you can do it while playing fun games or activities that the child really loves!

I’m from Delaware County, PA, and I’m an avid Philadelphia sports fan! When I’m not cheering on my teams, you can find me sipping coffee and reading a good book. I love to run and hope to participate in upcoming races.

From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by the power of communication and its ability to connect people. This curiosity, coupled with my deep desire to make a positive impact, led me to pursue a career in speech-language pathology. I am especially passionate about working with children because I believe early intervention can be life-changing, setting the foundation for strong communication skills that will serve them throughout their lives. Helping children overcome challenges and seeing their progress is incredibly rewarding, and it’s this sense of purpose that drives my dedication to the field.
