  • How do you accept payment? / Do you accept insurance?
We accept cash, check, Venmo, and Zelle. Upon request, we will gladly provide you with a bill receipt that you can submit for reimbursement from your insurance company.
  • What does an evaluation entail?
An evaluation includes comprehensive standardized assessments, informal assessments, language samples, client observation, and parent/caregiver input (approximately 2-3 hours). A report is created outlining all assessment data, client strengths, and client needs. An individualized therapy plan is crafted and included in the report (approximately 2-3 hours). The SLP then meets with parents/caregivers and discusses the report and therapy plan in great detail, answering any and all questions (approximately 1 hour). Parents/caregivers have further opportunity to communicate their wants/needs for what therapy looks like for their child as they are integral team members!
  • Can services be virtual?
Yes! Services are in person and can also be provided virtually anywhere in Pennsylvania. Evaluations must be completed in person at the Conshohocken location.
  • Can I share the evaluation report with others such as my child’s school or pediatrician?
Yes! The evaluation report is for your records and you have the right to share it with anyone that works with your child.
  • Do I get progress notice on how my child is doing?
Of course! A wonderful aspect about Rosie Speech is that we get to collaborate and discuss progress in session. Furthermore, after every 10 sessions, you will be provided with a snapshot report on data collected from your child’s sessions.
  • Does my child need an evaluation?
An evaluation will be needed if your child has not been evaluated by a licensed SLP within the last 12 months. If your child has been evaluated in the last 12 months, the evaluation report will need to be shared with Rosie Speech and an intake meeting will be scheduled.
  • Can my child’s school-based SLP contact you?
Absolutely! You will need to fill out a Release of Records Form. Once that is completed, we would be happy to collaborate with your child’s school-based SLP.
